| Who am I? Here are some random facts… I love my family. I have four wonderful children that I would move mountains for…. who test my patience on a daily basis, but also melt my heart regularly with a simple hug or cuddle. I start every morning with my homemade decaf mocha frappucinos, and without fail, one of my children will try to steal a sneak of my sacred morning drink… lol. Being a photographer has been my dream job since childhood. I got my first ‘real’ camera at the age of 10, and never stopped taking pictures since then. I love to travel. I have a collection of sunsets from every country that I ever visited. My favourite is the midnight sun above the Arctic Circle in the Lofoten Islands (off the coast of Norway). I cherish the simple moments in life, and consider myself blessed to have had so much time with my children when they were young… I love to bake and cook, but often give away the sweets to others to enjoy (that is, if the cookie-monsters in my house don’t get to them first!)… :) I’m a romantic at heart that loves to listen to music of all kinds…especially from the 80s, latin, & romantic genre… One of my favourite quotes is: "To be a child is to know the joy of life. To have a child is to know the beauty of life." - author unknown For me this is the essence of motherhood. It is this special relationship, this unique bond that I seek to capture in each session. |
